KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Thursday at 21,270.17 points with a negative change of -135.80 and volume of 55,868,700 shares. High and Low were 21,420.59 and 21,130.84 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 8 were up, 22 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 101,839,820 shares. Total companies traded were 344 of which 119 were positive, 216 were negative and 9 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 13,851,400 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 12,865,500 shares.
