An official of Punjab Health Department has clarified that the department had not imposed any cut on the budget allocated for the purchase of medicines for government hospitals throughout Punjab. He further said that all the apprehensions in this regard are baseless and contrary to the facts. He said that Punjab health department had already provided interferon injection to all the government hospitals, which are used, for Hepatitis patients.
