Forces foil terror bid, explosive vehicle seized

The security forces have foiled a potential terrorism bid by seizing a vehicle full of explosive during search operation in restive Doaba here on Saturday, police said. According to Doaba police station, working on a tip off, police signalled a suspected vehicle to stop for search. The people sitting in the vehicle opened firing at the police party instead of compliance.
Three militants were injured as the police retaliated. Later, the police with help of bomb disposal squad diffused the explosive loaded in the vehicle. Police have cordoned off the area and started search operation.
