Nicaragua's sugar production in the 2010/11 harvest, which began last month, is seen rising 2 percent compared with last year's season, the national sugar producers association told Reuters. The Central American country will produce 555,911 tonnes of sugar, compared with the 544,944 tonnes produced in 2009/10, the producers association's general manager, Mario Amador, said in an interview late on Tuesday.
