At least two people were killed in separate incidents here on Wednesday. A dead body of 30 year old unidentified man was found near Gulbai Chowk, Shershah, Maripur road in the limits of Shershah police station. SHO Zafar Abro, Shershah Police Station told Business Recorder that the dead body was handcuffed and received six bullets while no political affiliation has been revealed yet.
He said that the body was taken to Edhi morgue for identification and later to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for medico legal formalities. The victim was kidnapped from unknown place and the unknown suspects threw his body and fled away, he added. Police registered a case against unidentified men on the complaint of state and initiate to probe the case.
In another incident 35 year old man was gunned down at Tariq Road in the evening. The victim was identified as Asif Ali, son of Abdul Waheed. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for autopsy. However, the police claimed to have arrest two person. SHO Ferozabad told Business Recorder that the culprits were following the deceased from Abul Hasan Asphani Road and gunned him down at Tariq Road.
According to him it was a Target Killing. He said that after having encounter Police arrested both two culprits. The culprits were identified as Tahir and Faizan while Tahir have been to jail for three years in the past. Police recovered two pistols and a motorcycle from their possession. The case has been registered.
