The co-ordination committee for Sundar Estate, in its meeting held under the Chairmanship of Provincial Secretary Industries, Dr Shujaat Ali, discussed various matters regarding development of the estate, in detail. The provincial Secretary Industries emphasised on developing better linkage between various industrial organisations of Punjab.
He briefed the meeting that Punjab Small Industries Co-operation is running 21 Small Industrial Estates throughout the province. On the directive of the Punjab Chief Minister, the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) has cancelled all memorandums of understanding (MoUs) in respect of Small Industrial Estates signed between PSIC and concerned Industrial Estate Associations.
Now the boards of the management are under the process of their formulation for each Small Industrial Estate, he added. The meeting also discussed to cancel such allotments by giving notices to such allotees who have failed to establish projects over the plots, within stipulated time.
