Federal Commerce Minister, Makhdoom Amin Fahim said on Tuesday that there is no pressure on the government from its coalition partners, saying all issues would be sorted out amicably. He was talking to the media during his visit to All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma), on Tuesday.
Fahim said coalition partners of the government have their peculiar viewpoint and they reserve the right to express them as and when they desire. Regarding Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman's political twist, he said Maulana is a political leader and it is his right to decide whether to stay with the government in Balochistan.
He also rejected the impression of formation of a grand opposition alliance, saying no formal announcement has made so far by the opposition parties in this regard. He added that elections would be held in the country on its due time. He added that politics is not an art of ifs and buts and he would not comment until something solid happens.
Regarding lack of good governance on the part of government, the minister said issues like NLC and OGDC are subjudice and he would not comment on them. However, he added that criticism is a 'national hobby of Pakistanis and government could not win its heart despite all efforts'. He refused to comment on Mumtaz Bhutto's meeting with Nawaz, scheduled a month later.
