Rice prices turn higher on grain market

Rice prices were up on the wholesales grain and seed market on Tuesday in process of slow trading, dealers said. On the rice sector, Irri-9 Sindh gained Rs 200 to 4100-4200, Basmati 386 old gained Rs 400 to Rs 5200-5400 and new type was also quoted at the same rate and super Basmati Sindh followed the same print, gaining Rs 200 to Rs 6000-6200, they said.
A solo deal was reported on the seed side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1240-1260, other items did not move any side in process of trading, they said. Prices on the other sectors were unmoved in process of lacklustre trading activity, they said.
