Lean business seen on grain market

A few changes were seen on the wholesales grain and seed market on Monday as some buyers were active after long weekend holidays, dealers said. On the cereal side masoor Canada was quoted at Rs 6800, other items maintained last levels in process of low trading. Gur low type did not show any change at Rs 6800 while the best quality fell by Rs 100 to Rs 7400, they said.
On the grams side grams 50x50 was higher by Rs 50 to Rs 5750-6000, other items were unmoved during the lacklustre trade, they added. On the seed side cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type was inert at Rs 1230 while the good type gained Rs 10 to Rs 1250, they said.
