Tubewells in Balochistan: Zardari takes notice of non-provision of power

President Asif Ali Zardari Monday issued directives for convening a meeting of Balochistan Chief Minister, Minister for Water and Power and Finance Minister to address the issue of provision of power to tubewells in Balochistan province.
The President issued these directives when Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani during his call on meeting with President at Aiwan-e-Sadr, brought the issue to his notice that many tubewells in Balochistan were lying idle without power supply. Dr Hafeez Shaikh, Federal Minister for Finance, Saleem Mandviwala, Board of Investment Chairman and Spokesperson to the President Farhatullah Babar were also present in the meeting.
