Prime Minister, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has appreciated the role of law enforcement agencies for making excellent arrangements during Muharram, visit of Chinese premier and joint session of the parliament. He added that this has sent a positive message to the international entrepreneurs who wish to invest in many sectors of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister was talking to Rehman Malik, Minister for Interior who called on him at Prime Minister's House on Sunday morning. Gilani said the people of Pakistan have great regard for their Chinese brethren and this has been manifested by them by according a exceptionally warm welcome to the Chinese Prime Minister, Wen Jiabao. He observed that the visit has further cemented ties between the two countries. Earlier, Malik briefed on various strategies adopted by the government, on the instructions of Prime Minister, for security during Muharram and visit of Chinese premier.
