Deputy Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Dr Farid Ahmed Piracha, has said that Islamabad's acceptance of the US dictation on North Waziristan military operation and the RGST showed that the Pakistani rulers were completely shameless and obstinate.
In a statement here on Sunday, he said that instead of adopting a bold and honourable course, the rulers were blindly toeing the Washington's line despite their claims of following an independent policy.
He said the drone attacks and the military operation under US pressure were a serious threat to Pakistan's sovereignty, while the country was also confronted with terrorist attacks within the country and the US and India's aggression from abroad.
He said if the rulers did not have the courage to frame bold and independent policies, they should quit and allow the nation to take bold decisions.
