Mine, mineral-related exploration work: China can play remarkable role, says Raisani

Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani Sunday said China could play a remarkable role in the mine and mineral-related exploration work in Balochistan, adding he hopes that the great friend would continue co-operation in this regard.
Commenting on US $30 billion accords inked between Pakistan and China in diverse fields of trade, energy, technology, banking, water sector and others, he termed them a great step to further strengthen evergreen ties between the two neighbouring friendly states. He lauded Chinese co-operation in the construction of Gawadar Port and hoped for its expansion by China.
Raisani said Chinese Premier, Wen Jiabao's visit to Pakistan would deepen relations between Pakistan and China as more practical steps have been taken in this regard. He expressed satisfaction that China would execute alternative energy projects to meet energy requirement of Pakistan besides transferring relevant technology.
