KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister, Manzoor Wassan, has directed that security be beefed up in Karachi. He issued these instructions in the wake of Friday morning's bomb blast in Karachi's Safoora Chowrangi.
Three personnel of Rangers died and four other were injured in the blast. A statement here said that the Sindh Home Minister strongly condemned the blast.
It said that he also expressed condolences with the heirs of those who lost their lives in the incident. The Home Minister directed the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh that investigation be carried out into the incident.
He further instructed that police be put on alert, snap checking, patrolling and deployment of plain clothes policemen be enhanced.
