KARACHI: Gold improved by Rs 43 to close at Rs49,628 per 10 grams in the local market Thursday, as its international price moved up to $ 1,740 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 50 to Rs 57,900. Silver closed unchanged at Rs 917.41 per 10 grams.
