SHANGHAI: Chinese shares were down slightly in morning trade Thursday, as investors stayed cautious ahead of the release of inflation data for November, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was down 0.29 percent, or 6.83 points, at 2,325.90.
The inflation numbers are due out on Friday.
