ISLAMABAD: The marketing companies on Wednesday increased the price of Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) by Rs 5 per kg with immediate effect, said Chairman LPG Distributors Association Irfan Khokar.
The price of a domestic cylinder has been risen by Rs 60 and commercial cylinder by Rs 240.
As a result of the increase, the price of domestic cylinder in Gilgit, FATA, Balakot, Muzaffarabad, Bagh, Azad Kashmir has risen by Rs 145 to Rs 150 per KG the domestic cylinder would be available at Rs 1690 to 1750.
The price in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Murree, Swat has gone up to Rs 135 to Rs 140 per kg. The price of domestic cylinder will be fromRs 1570 to 1630.
The price of domestic cylinder in Lahore, Gujrat, Sialkot Khanewal, Kasur, Jhang and Sindh has risen from Rs 115 to Rs 120 kg. The domestic cylinder will be available at Rs 1330 to Rs 1390.
The price in Peshawar, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ismael Khan, Sukkur has risen from Rs 125 to Rs 130 kg per domestic cylinder. Domestic cylinder price would be available from Rs 1450 to Rs 1510.
The price in Bahawalpur, Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Faisalabad has risen from 120 to 125 per kg. The price in Peshawar, Karachi has risen from Rs 105 to Rs 110 per kg.
