LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange on Wednesday shed 60.23 points, as the LSE 25-Indux opened with 2888.85 points and closed at 2828.62 points.
The markets overall situation also corresponded to downward trend as it remained at 1.285 million shares to close against 1.361 million shares thus showing a volume difference of 76,412 shares. While, out of the total 91 active scrips only five moved up, 57 remained equal and 29 shed values.
Pakistan Petroleum Limited, United Bank Limited and Habib Sugar Mills Limited were Major Gainers of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 1.39, Re 0.50 and Re 0.12, respectively.
Fauji Fertilizer Company, Engro Corporation Limited and Attock Refinery Limited lost their per share value by Rs 6.90, Rs 6.14 and Rs 4.50, respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim with 214,130 share, Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 161,013 share and NIB Bank Limited with 147,085 shares.
