The administration of Services Hospital has evolved a new security plan for the safety of patients, attendants and the hospital staff. Under the plan, sale of eatables in the wards and hospital premises will be strictly prohibited and no guest will be allowed to stay at the doctors or nursing hostels without permission of the administration.
It was decided in a meeting presided over by Medical Superintendent Services Hospital Dr Muhammad Javed. The meeting decided that attendance of security officials of each shift will be checked three times and no guard will leave without the start of the next shift. The meeting also decided to install walkthrough gates at different places and issued instructions to all administrative doctors and nursing superintendents not to allow unnecessary leaves to the employees. Similarly, hospital employees should display their hospital cards during duty hours.
The Medical Superintendent directed incharge works department to ensure all lights of the hospital were working. He also issued instructions for improvement of security arrangements at doctors and nursing hostels.
