Dutch importers keen on setting up joint venture in vegetable processing industry
Holland importers have showed desirous of having a joint venture with Pakistan in the fruits and vegetable processing industry. The Holland importers have expressed the desire during an interaction with Senior Federal Minister for Commerce Makhdoom M Amin Fahim during inauguration of Pakistani Mango Promotion show in Amsterdam Holland, said a press received here.
The promotional campaign was a joint effort of Pakistan Horticulture Development and Export Company and Pakistan Embassy, the Netherlands.
A large member of Dutch importers and business community, foreign officials, Ambassador of Pakistan in Holland and CEO PHDEC, Bashir Hussain were present at the occasion.
The Dutch businessmen have also showed interest in establishing bilateral trade relations with their Pakistani counterparts. The Dutch importers showed special interest in the treated mangoes that were sent for the occasion by sea by Durrani Associated, one of the leading exporters.
While addressing the inaugural ceremony, the senior Federal Minister said the government is setting up a market requirements and boost horticultural export. He also added that government of Pakistan considers Netherlands a very important trading partner being gateway to Europe.
The Pakistan Ambassador to Holland thanked the minister for participating in the event. He added that presence of Makhadoom Amin Fahim shows his dedication and commitment towards national cause.
He also appreciated the mango shipment by sea and added that in this way Pakistan can penetrate into European market at a large scale.
