President Tanzeem-ul-Madaris Ahle-Sunnat Pakistan, Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman on Sunday condemning attack on Data Darbar, the shrine of Hazrat Syed Ali Hajveri at Lahore has called for need to devise an effective strategy and future course of action in the light of realties. Mufti Munib, who is also Principal of Dar-u- Uloom-Naeemia Karachi, said this while addressing a press conference here.
He said the attack on Data Darbar is a serious incident and a highly condemnable act of terrorism. Mufti Munib said we would take all parties on board in "Shawwal-ul-Mukkaram" the month of Islamic calendar to decide the future line of action.
In the meantime the process of consultation with all parties will continue, he added. He appealed to the people to stage protest in a peaceful manner and not to destroy or damage the life and public and private property during the protests and rallies.
He said killing of innocent Muslims is prohibited in Islam and the culprits involved in attack on the shrine of Hazrat Syed Ali Hajveri are the enemies of humanity. He said military aggression against the Muslim countries is a violation of international laws and we support all those who raise voice against it.
Prominent scholars including Maulana Jameel Ahmed Naeemi, Maulana Rehan Amjad Nomani, Maulana Ghulam Dastagir Afghani, Mufti Muhammad Illyas Rizvi and other notables were also present.
