PPL clinches fourth consecutive MAP corporate excellence award

KARACHI: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) achieved another milestone by clinching the prestigious Management Association of Pakistan’s (MAP) 28th Corporate Excellence Award in the Oil and Gas and Utilities sector for the fourth consecutive year. 

This award affirms the company’s adherence to best corporate governance practices. 

MD and CEO PPL Asim Murtaza Khan received the award from Finance Minister, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh, who was chief guest on the occasion. The event, held at the Karachi Marriott Hotel, drew business leaders and print and electronic media representatives. 

Now in their 28th year, the Corporate Excellence Awards were instituted by MAP in 1982 to recognize companies demonstrating outstanding performance and good corporate governance adjudged through a stringent evaluation process by an independent evaluation committee.
