KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Monday at 22,529.95 points with a negative change of -100.55 and volume of 72,121,900 shares. High and Low were 22,747.31 and 22,450.38 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 5 were up, 24 were down and 1 was unchanged.
Total volume traded in the market was 123,343,090 shares. Total companies traded were 383 of which 92 were positive, 272 were negative and 19 were unchanged.
Textile Composite was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 20,150,200 shares. It was followed by Textile Spinning with a total traded volume of 17,683,250 shares.
