Khan Research Laboratories (KRL)'s former skipper and stopper Aseed Saeed will serve a two-match ban for taking law into hands, while sitting in dugout during scoreless KRL-KPT match of Pakistan Premier Soccer League 2009 last Sunday.
Mansehra-born Saeed, 37, who is representing KRL since their birth in 1995 National Championship at Peshawar, used abusive language during and after the match against PFF Officials and Referee Shahid Rasheed (Arifwala), thus clearly violated PPFL 2009 Technical Regulations (Article 18 p), which states that if any team found guilty to disrespect to the opponents, referees and others officials treated as misconduct, officials and players will be suspended as recommended by Match Commissioner.
It may be noted that Saeed was part of KRL when they won the National Football Challenge Cup (NFCC) earlier this year besides 48th National Championship at Quetta 2001, and NFCC at Chaman 1999 and Bahawalpur 2001 when Kahuta-based team was runners-up. Moreover, Wapda clinched three vital points to pressurise pace-setters when they overwhelmed KPT in the 176th clash of Pakistan Premier Football League on Wednesday.
