LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange gained 18.43 points on Tuesday, as LSE-25 Index opened with 2928.32 and closed at 2946.75 points.
The market's overall situation, however, did not correspond to an upward trend as it remained at 0.959 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.345 million shares, showing a difference of 385,512 shares. While, out of the total 97 active scraps 17 moved up, 68 remained equal and 12 shed values.
Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Engro Corporation Limited, and Oil and Gas Development Corporation Limited (OGDCL) were Major Gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 4.68, Rs 4.29 and Rs 3.84, respectively.
Fauji Fertilizer Company, MCB Bank Limited and Packages Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.98, Rs 1.85 and Rs 0.86, respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included Fatima Fertilizer Company with turnover of 183,495 shares, The Bank of Punjab Limited with 176,825 and Fauji Fertilizer Bin Qasim with 97,795 shares.
