PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwas Minster for Agriculture, Arbab Muhammad Ayub Jan on Tuesday said that certain corrupt elements were trying to enter political arena after disguising themselves and would try to deceive the masses but people, he added were well aware now and would not vote such elements in future.
Addressing a big public gathering at Wadpaga, the minister said record uplift works of more than two billion rupees were carried out in constituency PK-9 during last four years and many were near completion to bring pleasant change in the lives of masses.
The government, he said has succeeded in curbing the menace of terrorism and establishing complete peace in Malakand Division through its sincere and committed efforts.
The Jihad of ANP for establishment of peace, he said was still underway and would continue till its logical end.
He said the government has achieved the milestones of provincial autonomy, identification for the province and its rights.
Under NFC Award the share of the province was enhanced from 45 to 56 percent which would bring extra 80 billion rupees, while income from mineral resources would be apart from it.
This money would be utilized in completion of 5000 MW power generation projects that would change the fate of KP by eradication of poverty, backwardness and unemployment.
Talking about road network in the constituency, he said work on Dalazak-Akbarpura road was in full swing with an amount of 230 million rupees while a new fruit and vegetable market has been approved for the farmers of Tapa Khalsa and Tapa Daudzai.
The minister on this occasion also announced a higher secondary school for the female students of Wadpaga and Rs 300000 for the local mosque.
On this occasion, dozens of area people announced to join ANP.
