SHANGHAI: Chinese shares rose 0.76 percent in morning trade Tuesday, tracking overnight gains in US and European markets on hopes eurozone leaders can strike a deal to tackle the region's crisis, dealers said.
The Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A and B shares, was up 18.10 points to 2,401.13.
