Senior Punjab Minister Raja Riaz presiding over a departmental meeting here on Sunday said that Chiniot Dam Project was being launched at cost of Rs23.30 billion in district Chiniot. He said the Dam would have the storage capacity of one-million-acre feet.
He said feasibility study of these areas had been conducted by the assistance of Wapda. He said private sector could contribute with the Punjab government in full filling the dearth of electricity and water in the country.
