KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Monday at 25,557.15 points with a negative change of -338.16 and volume of 173,847,500 shares. High and Low were 25,951.55 and 25,401.79 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 4 were up, 26 were down and 0 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 241,027,460 shares. Total companies traded were 394 of which 100 were positive, 281 were negative and 13 were unchanged.

Commercial Banks was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 45,478,900 shares. It was followed by Technology and Communication with a total traded volume of 21,993,000 shares.

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pakistan Limited with a volume of 460 and price per share of 2,336.90 (-84.77), Bata Pakistan Limited with a volume of 100 and price per share of 3,150 (-50.00), Hinopak Motors Limited with a volume of 360 and price per share of 1,340.09 (-30.64).
