Bill White, the mayor of City of Houston, has appointed noted Pakistani artist and social worker Jimmy Engineer as honorary citizen of City of Houston, in recognition of what the mayor says his vocation and in appreciation of the valuable contributions he has made and is making through unselfish public service for the benefit of humanity.
"Furthermore, as a token of high esteem I have selected you to serve as a Good Will Ambassador of the city," the mayor added. Meanwhile, a large number of people visited Jimmy Engineer's exhibition titled "Ideology of Peace" held at Shangril-La Art Gallery, Houston, earlier this month.-PR
