Prices of fruits, vegetables remain stable

SARGODHA: Prices of fruits and vegetables overall remained stable in Ramazan Bazaars in the district on Sunday.

According to the Market Committee Price List issued here, the prices of various fruits and vegetables showed no major difference from the price list of the previous week.

According to the price list, potato was sold at Rs 39/36 per Kilogram, Onion Rs 25/22, Tomato Rs 34/28, Ginger Rs 135/115, Garlic (Quetta) Rs 160/145, Garlic Local 115/100, Lemon Rs 160/135, Lady Finger Rs 42/35, Pumpkin Rs 35/35, Brinjal Rs 25/21, Fresh Bean Rs 90/80, Cucumber Rs 32/25, Capsicum Rs 46/37, Cauliflower Rs 80/60, Cabbage Rs 38/30, Spinach Rs 35/24, Yam Rs 82/72, Carrot Rs 46/42, Chicken Rs 185 per Kg and Egg per dozen Rs 85.

Likewise , the rates of fruits per Kilogram of high and medium quality are as: Apple (Kala Kalo) Rs 185/140, Apple Golden Rs 135/95, Apple White Rs 130/85, Apple China Rs 230/170, Banana Rs 130/150, Melon Rs 37/32, Water Melon Rs 17/13 per kg, Mango (Malda) 85/60, Mango (Sindhi) Rs 110/76, Dates (Pakistani) Rs 150/180, Dates (Iranian) Rs 180/200, Mango (Local) Rs 70/48, and Apricot Rs 110/80, Cherry Rs 200/190, Plum Rs 140/120, and Plum (special) Rs 145/160.
