LAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange shed by 10.46 points on Monday as LSE-25 index opened with 3178.47 and closed at 3168.01 points.
The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 1.221 million shares to close against previous turnover of 0.942 million shares, showing a difference of 279,246 shares. While, out of the total 95 active scrips 12 moved up, 64 remained equal and 19 shed values.
Fauji Fertilizer Company, Pakistan Oil Fields Limited and Allied Bank Limited were major gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 2.81, Rs 1.30 and Re 0.61 respectively.
Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, MCB Bank Limited and Engro Corporation Limited lost their per share value by Rs 2.20, Rs 2.06 and Rs 1.97 respectively.
The Volume Leader of the day included: NIB Bank Limited with 346,770 shares, Shaffi Chemical Industries Limited with 115,000 shares and Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited with 107,007 shares.
