KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed higher on Wednesday having 51511.41 points with a negative change of 301.78 and volume of 107,334,290 shares.
High and Low were 51948.27 and 51443.17 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 371,801,250 shares with 396 total traded companies out of which 184 were up 189 were down and 23 were unchanged.
TECHNOLOGY & COMMUNICATION was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 59,889,500 shares. It was followed by ENGINEERING with a total traded volume of 48,493,900 shares.
The three top traded companies were WorldCall Telecom with a volume of 38,902,500 and price per share of 3.20 (0.27), Lotte Chemical with a volume 20,855,500 of price per share of 11.92 (0.39), TRG Pak Ltd with a volume 14,380,500 of price per share of 57.05 (0.40).
The top three advancers were Unilever Foods with price per share 6200.00 (50.00), AL-Ghazi TractorsXD with price per share of 665.15 (28.88) and Agriautos Ind.share of 469.52 (21.54).
The top three decliners were Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 9650.00 (150.00), Pak SuzukiXD with price per share of 840.03 (29.97) and Hinopak Motor per share of 1587.68 (26.32).
