NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has ordered the promotion of 28 Information Officers and Assistant Directors from BPS-17 to BPS-18, according to handout issued here on Sunday. The decision was taken in a high level meeting held at the Chief Minister's House on Saturday.
Chief Secretary NWFP Sahibzada Riaz Noor, Secretary Establishment Mian Sahib Jan, Secretary Finance Abdul Khaliq Khan and Secretary Information Muhammad Afzal Khan attended the meeting.
The meeting approved the promotion of 28 Information Officers and Assistant Directors with 10 years service in BPS-17. It merits mentioning here that the NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani during his visit to the Directorate of Information had announced promotion of the officers to the next grades on 18th of August last.
Those being promoted comprise of Syed Zafarmand Ali, Syed Abul Hassan, Firdous Khan, Imdadullah, Sibghatullah, Ahmad Jan, Zamir Gul, Habibullah, Mohammad Tayyeb, Amir Hussain Shah, Ansarullah Khiljee, Waheedullah, Mohammad Imran, Shamsur Rahman, Mabashir Rahim Malik, Gul Karim, Liaqat Amin, Noorul Hadi, Riaz Ahmad, Ataul Haq, Arshad Hussain, Javed Khaki, Bahramand Jan, Zabita Khan, Yasmin Arshad, Salim Khan, Ghaziur Rahman and Mohammad Haroon.
