KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs 599 to close at Rs 48,685 per 10 grams in the local market Friday, as its international price stood at $ 1,758 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also increased by Rs 700 to Rs 56,800.
However, silver closed unchanged at Rs 925.71 per 10 grams.
