ISLAMABAD: The Fund Stability Rating of UBL Fund Managers (UBL Funds) Collective Investment Scheme UBL Growth and Income Fund (UGIF) has been upgraded to ‘A’ from triple B Plus by JCR-VIS Credit Rating Company.
The UGIF offers investment opportunity in long-term investment instruments that do not have any exposure to the stock market, a statement issued here on Tuesday said.
The revision in rating incorporates adoption of a more prudent investment policy with minimum threshold defined for credit risk and weighted average duration of the fund.
The UGIF is exposed to Term Finance Certificates (TFC) and comparing to stock market based investment schemes, the UGIF offers a less volatile investment avenue for investors seeking long-term saving programmes.
