Two-times champion Sindh Red overwhelmed Khanewal's Crown Club 2-0 in the sixth edition of National U-15 Football Championship 2007 under floodlights at grassy Shabbir Stadium inside Khanewal District Sports Complex on Friday night.
The Group-C match was watched by large audience in which the scorers for 1994, 2004 champions were striker Muhammad (5th min) and Junaid Qadar (36th min). Other team in the group is Balochistan White.
The Match Commissioner was Akhtar Mohiuddin (Chaman) while Salahuddin Awan (Peshawar) acted as Referee Assessor. Rauf Bari supervised the match, assisted on the line by Khalid Khan, Hidayat Ullah. Zahid was the fourth official. The semi-finals will be played on 5th July, followed by 7th July final at 10 pm. The chief guest of the final will be Punjab Governor Lieutenant General (Retd) Khalid Maqbool.
