Pakistan cricket team on Wednesday left here for Scotland to play one each one-day match against Scotland and India on July 1 & 3, respectively. Pakistan team would play against Scotland on July 1 while Prince Charles Trust organised a charity match between Pakistan and India on July 3.
The team would reach Glasgow via Manchester. Pakistani skipper, Shoaib Malik told mediamen before departure that all players including Shoaib Akhter are completely fit and would deliver best performance in Scotland. Fast bowler Shoaib Akhter said on the occasion that he would proof fitness in Scotland tour.
The 15-member team is comprised of Shoaib Malik b(captain), Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Yousaf, Younis Khan, Yasir Hameed, Fawad Alam, Salman Butt (vice captain), Imran Nazir, Abdur Razaque, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Akhtar, Mohammad Sami, Mohammad Asif, Umer Gull and Rao Iftikhar Anjum. Younis Khan would join the team in England.
