bravoDHAKA: Darren Bravo remained unbeaten with a solid 151 as the West Indies strengthened their position in the second and final Test against Bangladesh on Tuesday.

The tourists were 309-4 in their second innings at lunch on the penultimate day for an overall lead of 433 with six wickets in hand. Shivnarine Chanderpaul was unbeaten on 33 at the break.

Bangladesh were bowled out for 231 in their first innings on Monday in reply to the West Indies' 355.

Bravo, who completed his maiden Test century off the last ball on Monday, added 51 to his overnight score of 100. He has put on 69 for the unfinished fifth-wicket stand with Chanderpaul.

Bravo reached the 150-mark in the last over of the morning session with a four off debutant left-arm spinner Suhrawadi Shuvo. He has so far hit two sixes and 10 fours in his 255-ball knock.

The West Indies added 102 runs off 30 overs in the two-hour morning session to their overnight total of 207-3 for the loss of just one wicket.

Nightwatchman Kemar Roach (12) fell in the day's 11th over when he was caught by Naeem Islam at long-off off Shuvo after adding 56 runs for the fourth wicket with Bravo.

The opening Test ended in a draw in Chittagong.
