KARACHI: Powered with battery a hybrid rickshaw equipped with wifi facility had been unveiled for the first time in Pakistan, the manufacturer of the three-wheelers announced.
The state of the art rickshaw with some components from China was introduced by its manufacturer - The Green Wheels - at the three-day Auto Fair held at Karachi Auto Show that concluded recently.
According to the manufacturer, the 200 CC rickshaw was made to meet local requirements.
The vehicle can ply with maximum speed of 50 kilometers.
With provision of modern automation, the rickshaw is available both with air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned facility. The price varies from Rs. 400,000 to 450,000, the company said.
The company claims that it has already received a number of orders from interested buyers.
It further said that after introducing the Rickshaw in Karachi, soon it will be available in other parts of Sindh province.
