It seems that the success of Pakistan Super League (PSL) is bearing fruit already, after it was learnt that an International XI 'team consisting of foreign players will visit Pakistan in September this year.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shahryar Khan informed the Bbc Urdu that he received a letter from England and Wales Cricket Board chairman Giles Clarke, who is also the head of the ICC Task Force on Pakistan.
In the letter, Clarke congratulated the PCB for its successful inauguration of PSL and informed that he would be bringing in an International XI 'team consisting of foreign players to Pakistan.
Previoulsy, Giles visited Pakistan in January where he met the top officials of PCB. Clarke has been on the Pakistan Task Force since it was set up in the aftermath of the Lahore terror attacks on the Sri Lanka team in March 2009.
PSL Chairman Najam Sethi announced the decision in a tweet, lauding the success of the tournament after the final was peacefully held in Lahore on March 5 amid tight security.
