PSL to elevate country's stature in world: Gilani

MULTAN: Terming holding of Pakistan Super League (PSL) final a mega event, former prime minister and PPP senior leader Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said that it would elevate the stature of the country in the world.

Talking to reporters here on Friday evening, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said that it would be a great event.

PTI chief Imran Khan had his own opinion about PSL, he said and added holding the event in Pakistan could not be opposed.

Gilani said the PPP would support incumbent government's efforts for restoring peace and tranquillity in the country.

To a question, former prime minister stated that Multan public meeting was cancelled owing to security reasons adding that his party would plan it again soon.
