KARACHI: Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) 100 index closed lower on Friday having 49623.81 points with a negative change of -72.27 and volume of 118,711,950 shares.

High and Low were 49894.52 and 49564.08 respectively. Total volume traded in the market was 392,029,510shares with 383 total traded companies out of which 150 were up 219 were down and 14 were unchanged.

CHEMICAL was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 80,851,010 shares. It was followed by TEXTILE COMPOSITE with a total traded volume of 50,936,720 shares.

The three top traded companies were Lotte Chemical. with a volume of 60,196,000 and price per share of 12.26 (0.44), Azgard Nine with a volume 37,616,500 of price per share of 10.92 (1.00), Silk Bank Ltd. with a volume 33,742,500 of price per share of 1.88 (0.22).

The top three advancers were Colgate Palmolive with price per share 2024.58 (94.58), Sapphire Fiber with price per share of 997.55 (47.50) and Indus Dyeing share of 801.56 (31.56).

The top three decliners were Wyeth Pak Ltd with price per share of 3258.03 (171.47), Nestle Pakistan with price per share of 9011.00 (144.00) and Rafhan Maize share of 7600.00 (100.00).
