KARACHI: Engro Corporation Ltd has posted a record profit after tax of Rs5.433 billion for nine months ending September 30, 2011 and declared an interim cash dividend of Rs2 per share.
According to the financial results of the company despatched to Karachi Stock Exchange here Monday, the pre-tax profit surged to Rs8.038 billion compared to Rs4.058 billion in the corresponding period last year.
The earning per share also climbed to Rs14.21 during the period under review as against Rs11.17 in 2010.
