PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan chairman Imran Khan Thursday said that PTI has laid the foundation of new strong and stable Pakistan and its was people responsibility to strengthen the party.
He was addressing party's joining ceremony by former Town Nazim, Haji Shaukat Ali along with family and friends in a meeting held here at Chief Minister House.
PTI chairman Imran Khan especially came here to attend the joining ceremony and claimed on the occasion that due to practical approach of PTI and its' performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province (KP), the leaders and workers of other political parties are joining his party.
He said that PTI is committed to making Pakistan a prosperous state of the world and is standing against the evil and corrupt forces.
Imran Khan welcomed Haji Shaukat Ali in his party saying that the party needed young and energetic leadership to spread the message of PTI in every nook and corner of the province.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Pervez Khattak said that people in large number are joining PTI due to its dynamic leadership and policies, adding that these people are becoming aprt of new Pakistan.
He claimed PTI has emerged as a strong political force which will guarantee a strong and prosperous Pakistan.
We have laid the foundation of new Pakistan on sound footing and now it was duty of the people to play their role in making this building strong.
Central General Secretary PTI Jahangir Tareen, provincial ministers and party worker were present on the occasion. PTI chief Imran Khan put party cap on head of Shaukat Ali Khan as part of welcome.
Later, in a brief chat with media, PTI chief demanded merger of FATA into KP to bring the tribal people into mainstream.
