imageLAHORE: PML-N Central Secretary General Senator Mushahidullah Khan blamed India on Thursday for sponsoring fresh wave of terrorism in Pakistan.

"The recent explosions are part of conspiracy to postpone Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Pakistan," he added.

Speaking to the media at PML-N central media office at Model Town here, he condemned blast at DHA Lahore and said, he felt no hesitation in saying that foreign hand was behind the recent blasts.

He said terrorism was much higher in India than Pakistan but it could not digest speedy progress in Pakistan. He added the present government had overcome 75 to 80 per cent terrorism while law and order situation in Punjab was better than other provinces.

The PML-N leader said some countries were perturbed over rapid construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and applying rough methods to halt it. He said the CPEC would prove game changer for the whole region, adding 1300-km-long corridor had already been completed and work on the rest project was underway at a fast pace.

The senator asked those making noise over Panama that as to why they were not asking Pervez Musharraf for pushing the country towards terrorism.

He said the PML-N leadership had full confidence in courts.

Mushahidullah said international cricket was knocking at the door of Pakistan but its foes in jealously were exploding bombs.
