KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah Thursday phoned the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh A.D Khawaja and took update report regarding the suicidal blast, at the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar and progress on enquiry.
The IGP briefed the Chief Minister on the actions taken by and performances of the CTD, Special Branch and other units of the police department.
Murad also made a call to the Sindh Chief Secretary (CS) Rizwan Memon and took information regarding the restoration work at the shrine.
The CS informed the Chief Minister that the project for revival work of the shrine is under process and work will be began soon.
The CM also got briefing regarding the steps taken for the security of other shrines and religious places.
