KARACHI: Model Ayyan Ali left for Sri Lanka via Dubai from Jinnah International Airport on Thursday after her name was finally removed from the Exit Control List (ECL).
According to the notification issued by Interior Ministrys official Qalandar Khan, Ayyans name has been removed in accordance with the Supreme Courts verdict of January 30, 2017.
It should be mentioned here that in the previous hearing, the models lawyer Latif Khosa said it is contempt of Supreme Court of Pakistan and an act of victimization to prevent her from going abroad.
The model's name was in the ECL since 14 March 2015 after she was arrested on charges of money laundering after customs officials recovered $506,000 from her luggage.
