SEHWAN SHARIF: At least 10 persons were martyred after a blast inside the shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar at Sehwan Sharif on Thursday.
As per media reports, at least 10 were martyred while more than 60 injured. As per initial reports, it was a suicide blast informed the police. The suicide bomber entered the shrine from the Golden Gate.
Deputy Commissioner Jamshoro, Munawar Mahesar the explosion occurred inside the shrine, during the ongoing Dhamaal at the shrine after Maghrib prayers. Ambulances are rushing to the site, while the victims are being transferred to hospitals at Hyderabad and Jamshoro Civil hospital.
Emergency has been declared at the hospitals, informed the Deputy Commissioner.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah called IG Police AD Khawaja and Hyderabad commissioner and ordered rescue and relief operation in wake of the blast.
As per reports, security has been beefed up at shrines in Karachi.
