Actress Lindsay Lohan who is currently studying Quran and Islamic ideologies, was scared to return back to US due to her changed personal believes. She also raised her voice against US President Donald Trump for his policies for refugees. But, now she feels Americans need to come together in support of Trump.
In a shocking revelation, the actress told Dailymail, "I think always in the public eye youre gonna be scrutinized, and he is the president. We have to join him. If you cant beat him, join him," she said, before saying that she hopes he will broaden his ideas when it comes to refugees.
"I think it would be a positive thing for America to show their care and support, and for him to experience what its like for these people and how much Turkey has been giving to the refugees and how many people theyve welcomed in and how (Prime Minister Tayyip) Erdogan has a very big heart. His country stands by him, and I think we all need to unite like that," she added.
Lohan is currently in Turkey spending time with Syrian refugees.
